Fast Flowering Cannabis Strains
For some growers, time is of the essence. There’s a multitude of reasons one might want to wrap up an operation as quickly as possible. Some cultivators still live in areas under prohibition; the faster they set up and shut down their project, the less likely they are to get busted and prosecuted. Alternatively, commercial growers want to achieve the fastest harvest possible to boost turnaround.
NEED FOR SPEED
Regardless of the reason, it’s certainly possible to speed up the cultivation process. Autoflowering varieties are prized for this very quality. Many of them provide ripe flowers only several weeks after germination, although this speed comes at a price. Yields are usually comparatively small, and cannabinoid content is lower too. That means less THC and CBD in each flower.
By comparison, photoperiod varieties offer larger yields and higher levels of cannabinoids. However, they usually take much longer to reach harvest when grown conventionally. Growers typically keep indoor plants on a light cycle of 18 hours on and 6 hours off during the vegetative stage. The photoperiod is then switched to 12 hours on and 12 hours off to initiate the flowering stage.
However, it’s possible to grow any photoperiod variety at a pace that rivals autoflowering cultivars. The very word “photoperiod” implies that these plants require a shift in the light cycle to begin flowering; an acquired evolutionary trait. A decrease in light signals that autumn is approaching, and thus it’s time to produce flowers and seeds to reproduce.
Indoor growers have free rein over the length of the vegetative phase in photoperiod varieties. As long as plants receive more than 12 hours of light per day, they will stay in veg. Growers can thus trigger flowering whenever they please. This trait means the photoperiod can be used to force plants to flower very early on in the growing cycle. Applying a 12/12 light cycle from germination will cause photoperiod strains to flower just as fast as most autos. Starting with clones will produce even faster results.
Although this level of speed is practical for some growers, there is a trade-off. The lack of a vegetative phase means plants only reach a small size, which results in reduced yields. However, this deficit can be negated by starting many seeds or clones together and cultivating them using the sea of green (SOG) method.

ROYAL CHEESE (FAST FLOWERING)
As her name suggests, Royal Cheese is quick off the mark when it comes to producing high-quality flowers. The indica-dominant strain was created to resemble the legendary UK strain Cheese. RQS breeders harnessed Old School Skunk and Afghani to get the job done. She boasts a THC level of 17%, which fuels a relaxing and stoning body high. Her flowers possess tastes of sweetness and earth. Grown conventionally, she produces an impressive yield of 450–550g/m² after a flowering period as brief as six weeks. She makes an excellent candidate for a 12/12 light cycle from veg.
Royal Cheese (Fast Flowering)
Legendary Strain originally from the UK
Cheese is a legendary cannabis plant with origins based in the UK. This marijuana strain has its heritage from some original Skunk #1 that was rediscovered then developed by a dedicated crew of cannabis growers from London. Finally they gave birth to a skunk that was so stinky that there seemed no more fitting a name than Cheese.
Since then, the Cheese genetic has spread around the world, winning a Cannabis Cup and reaching near legendary status in the eyes of smokers while doing so. We got a hold of it, feminized it and are proud to present the Royal Cheese feminized seeds.
Strong aroma on a thirsty plant
Royal Cheese Feminized will grow to about 1.5 metres indoors, but will stretch to over 2.5 metres out in the sun. This marijuana strain loves to drink and will grow big and strong as a result. The biggest issue encountered when growing Royal Cheese Feminized is the smell. This cannabis plant stinks so much that a carbon filter is almost essential for indoors, while everyone in the immediate radius will smell it outside.
Grown indoors, Royal Cheese will yield on average 60 grams per plant or 450-550 grams per square metre under a 600W light. Outdoors, this plant will tower above everything else and can yield over 600 grams in the correct climate (Spain, Italy, and California). It can be grown outdoors in northern Europe too, but will produce a lower quality buds than if grown indoors.
Our Royal Cheese feminized can be harvested 6-8 weeks after flowering to achieve the strongest flavour. Leaving it 2 weeks longer, 10 weeks, will give less flavour but will pack more of a punch with each puff or bong. Different growers enjoy different effects so it's up to you personally to experiment which is the right time for you; however, as a general rule, Cheese can be harvested at 6-8 weeks.
Fantastic mixed smoke!
The smoke from Cheese is quite simply fantastic. Carrying such a strong, pungent aroma which follows through with a good flavour is one thing. But what makes this marijuana strain so enjoyable is the sheer strength of the stone that you get from every hit of the joint or bong. This combination of stinky smell and knockout stone has ensured that Cheese will be around for a long time to come.

HONEY CREAM (FAST FLOWERING)
Honey Cream is a speedy specimen indeed. This fast female develops bulbous, trichome-covered flowers in as little as six weeks. She’s an indica-dominant variety that exerts a muscle-melting body high with a psychedelic edge. Her sweet and sugary tastes tease the tongue with every toke. A THC level of 16% limits the overwhelming potential of the high, and a medium level of CBD contributes serious amounts of chill. RQS breeders achieved these effects by crossing parent strains BlueBlack, Maple Leaf Indica, and White Rhino. She’ll maintain a small height and put out a reasonable yield after a 12/12 veg and flowering cycle.
Honey Cream (Fast Flowering)
A strain with heavy indica ancestors
After flowering starts, it will be ready to harvest in 6 to 7 weeks, but don’t rush – let it mature fully and you will be rewarded with a potent harvest. Indoors, it will normally yield around 500 grams per square metre, under a 600 watt light. Experienced growers may even achieve up to 650 grams per metre. Outdoors, it will be ready in September and will yield around the same per plant, depending on the climate and conditions.
Sweet, caramel Aroma
Honey Cream has an intense, sweet sugary, almost caramel-like aroma. The flavour, while not as sweet as the aroma, is sweet and almost earthy. Due to its complex genetics, a variety of tastes and smells can come from these plants, but the sweet, creamy caramel aroma overpowers all.
Great for relaxation
It grows like a classic Indica – short and bushy, with a huge flowering top of dense, resinous buds. The effect, as you would expect from such an Indica, is a heavy, relaxing stone. Perfect for relaxation, some medicinal users have almost found benefits for various physical ailments. All of this makes Honey Cream a great strain for Indica lovers.

SPEEDY CHILE (FAST FLOWERING)
Speedy Chile combines pace, taste, and unbelievably soothing effects. She’s the progeny of parent strains Early Skunk, Skunk, and Chile Indica. Speedy Chile inherited the best traits of each parent, including their fast growth and heavy indica dominance. Her frosty colas generate a THC level of 16%, making her a relaxing and subtle variety suitable for any time of day. Her tantalising tastes of fruit, pine, and spice make her an excellent addition to edibles. Under normal conditions, Speedy Chile can churn out up to 525g/m² in as little as six weeks of bloom. Prepare for almost instantaneous buds when using 12/12.
Speedy Chile (Fast Flowering)
Great taste and relaxing high
The Speedy Chile variety was accomplished by crossing a third-generation auto-flowering plant with a clone, providing you with a feminized cannabis seed that is ideal for indoor or outdoor marijuana gardens. Since some growers have been hesitant to embrace auto-flowering plants due to low THC levels, we designed our new fast cannabis version to yield buds of incredibly high potency.
Speedy Chile is a cross between Early Skunk x Skunk and Chile Indica, and it has an outstanding taste and a relaxing high. Early Skunk is an elite clone that has earned a reputation for producing medical marijuana flowers of the highest quality. The potent Early Skunk is ideal for pain, sleep issues and is a natural appetite enhancer. The Speedy Chile hybrid is 30% sativa and 70% indica, so you can expect the plants to stretch just a little bit and fill out nicely during the flowering period. The blend also provides a high of outstanding quality. The sativa influence can be felt slowly creeping up on you, and Speedy Chile provides an up high that is ideal for those who have tasks to accomplish during the day.
Good Strain for indoor... and outdoor, for newbies... and for experts
The indica also lends a nicely relaxing feel to the finished buds, making Speedy Chile ideal for those who enjoy smoking all day long. Speedy Chile feminized seeds have a fast life cycle, so you can harvest great buds in as little as eight weeks. The quick flowering strain is one of the fastest on the market, and the genetic makeup is ideal for those who want to maximize their growing area with quick turnaround times between crops. Our Speedy Chile seeds are an excellent choice for indoor or outdoor gardeners, and the plant is perfect for beginners and experts alike. Beginners will appreciate the fact that Speedy Chile requires little care, and experienced growers can dial in their nutrients and work wonders.
Indoor marijuana gardeners can expect a finished cannabis plant that is short in stature, leaving plenty of room in a grow tent or small closet. The feminized cannabis seeds are engineered for a short flowering cycle, and indoor growers will appreciate the number of harvests that they can receive from their garden. Speedy Chile will finish when it is between 50 and 100cm tall, and the yield is up to 525 grams per square meter.
Outdoor gardeners will also appreciate Speedy Chile because the plant will usually be ready for harvest one or two weeks before other strains. Finished buds can be picked in early September, so you can have your product ready before the autumn rains, reducing the chances of mold. Under natural sun, the feminized marijuana plants have an outstanding yield, and growers can expect to harvest up to 500 grams per plant. With an excellent high and outstanding potency, Speedy Chile tests at up to 16% THC, and the finished buds have very little CBD. This custom blend provides for a high that is gently relaxing and incredibly euphoric.
CANDY KUSH EXPRESS (FAST FLOWERING)
Candy Kush Express is a hasty cultivar loaded with tasty terpenes. Her small yet dense buds radiate intense aromas of sweetness and citrus. These notes also make themselves evident on the tongue when the strain is smoked or vaped. RQS breeders crafted the slightly indica-dominant variety by crossing Sweet Special with OG Kush. The high begins as a stimulating head-rush, then swiftly tapers into a warm body high. Candy Kush Express is capable of putting out a yield of 525g/m² under normal conditions. Expect to harvest these buds after seven weeks of flowering.
Candy Kush Express (Fast Flowering)
A very well balanced Sativa-Indica Strain
Generally, even strains that combine a Sativa and an Indica background tend to lean heavily towards one side or the other in both genetic background and effect. However, Candy Kush Express Fast Flowering is unique even amongst Indica/Sativa hybrids: at 40 percent sativa and 60 percent Indica, this Kush strain is about as close to a true, evenly mixed hybrid that there is available. This translates to a unique blend of both Indica and Sativa effects.
The Sweet Special strain is part of Candy Kush’s direct genetic background. Among other things, this strain is known for a sweet taste and hearty, durable plants. These assets translate to Candy Kush, as the plants are physically sturdy for growing indoors or out, and the taste is always pleasingly sweet. The legendary Royal Kush is the other genetic parent of Candy Kush. Royal Kush is a famously Indica-heavy strain, being descended itself from the inexpressibly potent Afghani Kush. Both Afghani and Royal Kush are prized amongst insomniacs for their sedative effects, and more casual and/or recreational smokers note the heavy “couch-lock” present in these strains.
A mixed physical and euphoric high
Since this strain does have slightly more Indica in its genetic background, a strong physical stoniness is present. However, the Sativa element of this strain shows itself in a heady, soaring euphoria. The Sativa aspects of Candy Kush help balance the effects, giving the soothing effects an unusual yet welcome energetic quality. This variety is gaining popularity for its unique blend of uplifting and deeply relaxing effects. The most effective medical uses of this strain are stress and pain relief. The low CBD content helps regulate the sedating effect, meaning that this strain has the capacity to relax without completely knocking users out.
It is notable that even with low CBD, the THC content of this strain weighs in at a very hefty 18 percent, making it one of the more potent varieties available. If grown outdoors, these plants yield at least 450 dried grams or up to 500 grams per plant if grown outdoors, or 475 to 525 dried grams when grown indoors. Since this is a Fast Flowering strain, flowering takes only seven weeks. When growing outdoors it is best to schedule for an early September harvest. When fully grown, the plants will reach a height of up to 100 centimetres indoors, or up to 170 centimetres outdoors.
Good strain for beginners
Like all Fast Flowering strains, these Candy Kush plants make for an easy growing process. Even novice growers will find that it is surprisingly easy to quickly yield dense, high-quality buds with through a straightforward growing process. Candy Kush Express Fast Flowering is ideal for growers who are interested in an unusually balanced strain that is easy to grow quickly in either indoor or outdoor conditions.
